The rapids of this river are relatively easy, but the scenery along the canyon is breath taking with its waterfalls, caves and rich vegetation. Our tour ends at the old watermill where we will enjoy a traditional lunch. The evening in Split is at your disposal. You might want to check out 1700 years old Diocletian’s Palace, the highlight of Split inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

  • Sea Kayaking Hvar

Start the day with the morning public catamaran transfer to the island Hvar, from where we depart for our sea kayak adventure. We paddle to the group of small islands called Pakleni Islands, located in front of Hvar town. The origin of the name goes back to the old days when the islands were the main source of rosin for local shipbuilders. Today, just like then, the islands are covered with thick pine woods providing refreshing shade even during the hottest summer days. The route through narrow straits and along the islands reveals small hidden pebble beaches, where we will enjoy the privilege of having, at least temporarily, a beach of our own, where we can swim, snorkel and relax.

    Meals: B, L
Activity: Sea kayaking tour Pakleni Islands, duration 3 - 4 h
Destinations visited: Pakleni Islands, Hvar town
    Accommodation: 3* or 4* B&B in Hvar

  • Explore the lavender fields and turquoise bays of Hvar

Get your walking shoes on! The walk today starts from a former shepherds’ settlement that is famous for its lavender and rosemary oil production. Passing by lavender fields, ancient stone walls and traditional villages we arrive to the south coast of the island from where we continue the walk along the coastal rocky path. The turquoise sea will be calling you, so we plan a short swim break just before we arrive to town Hvar. The evening is at your disposal, enjoy coffee or gelato at the main square and watch the world go by. Check out historical sites dating back to the 7th century, the Venetian loggia and oldest public theatre in Europe.

    Meals: B, L
    Activity: Walking 12 km, duration 3 - 4 h
Destinations visited: Lavender fields and villages of Hvar
    Accommodation: 3* or 4* B&B in Hvar

  • Sailing to island Vis

Today we will spend most of our day on a sailing boat. Our final destination is island Vis, founded by the ancient Greeks in the 4th century BC. It is one of our most remote inhabited islands, it used to be the British Military Mission Headquarters and later an important Yugoslav army base (and was therefore closed for foreign visitors till the 1990s). Due to these restrictions, the island is nowadays still authentic, preserved and simply said stunning. Weather will dictate our route, but we will definitely enjoy swimming and snorkeling activities in between sailing.

    Meals: B, L
    Activity: Sailing, duration 5 - 6 h
Destinations visited: Vis channel, Pakleni Islands archipelago, Island Vis
    Accommodation: 3* or 4* B&B in Vis

  • Mysterious island of Vis

Today we hop into jeeps and depart for an interesting island tour.  Vis has many stories to tell which you are about to discover. Greeks from the 4thcentury BC, English presence in World War II, Tito and his partisans and visits to their military bases, tunnel and bunker complexes are just some of the highlights on today’s agenda. Enjoy the views on the endless sea from the highest point of the island, learn about one of the last fisherman villages Komiža. In the evening we depart for a farewell dinner to one of the most authentic farm restaurants on the island where we will enjoy the traditional “peka” meal.

    Meals: B, D
Activity: Jeep safari, duration 4 h
Destinations visited: Vis and Komiža, military tunnels and bunkers on Vis
    Accommodation: 3* or 4* B&B in Vis

  • Tour end

Today the public catamaran takes us back to Split’s harbor where our tour ends.

    Meals: B
    Activity: transfer to Split’s port
