The rapids of this river are relatively easy, but the scenery along the canyon is breath taking with its waterfalls, caves and rich vegetation. Our tour ends at the old watermill where we will enjoy a traditional lunch. The evening in Split is at your disposal. Start the day with a ferry ride to our first island – Hvar. The island was a Greek colony with its main “metropolis” Faros or nowadays town Stari Grad, dating back to the 4th century BC.  We will cycle the north side of the island thereby passing numerous charming villages and hamlets, lavender fields and olive groves located inside the UNESCO preserved agricultural plain.  After lunch in one of the fishermen villages, we will have a laid-back “siesta style” afternoon to enjoy swimming, snorkeling or paddle boarding in one of the numerous beautiful bays that island Hvar offers.

  • Hike and swim on Hvar

Get your walking shoes on! The walk today starts from a former shepherds’ settlement that is famous for its lavender and rosemary oil production. Passing by lavender fields, ancient stone walls and traditional villages we arrive to the south coast of the island from where we continue the walk along the coastal rocky path. The turquoise sea will be calling you, so we plan a short swim break just before we arrive to town Hvar. The evening is at your disposal, enjoy coffee or gelato at the main square and watch the world go by. Check out historical sites dating back to the 7th century, the Venetian loggia and oldest public theatre in Europe.

Activity: Walking 12 km, duration 3 - 4 h. Afternoon option for snorkeling and swimming
Destinations visited: Lavender fields and villages of Hvar
    Accommodation: 3* or 4* B&B in Hvar

  • Walk through a magical forest

Start the day with a boat ride to island Korčula. Once on the island, we depart for the walk which starts from one of the oldest settlements on the islands. Following a short walk through the village, we continue along the fascinating nature park made up of interesting rock formations and vegetation which includes moss, ivy and fern; plants which are unusual in the dry Mediterranean climate. The walk ends with lunch where you will be able to taste homemade specialties prepared by the Farac family. In the afternoon you can opt to relax at your accommodation or refresh yourself in the crystal-clear waters of Korčula. We will have paddle boards and snorkel equipment at hand. This evening you will have free time to discover the town of Korčula and its charming medieval center.

Following the lunch break we depart to one of the beaches on the eastern side of Korčula island, where we will have a typical Dalmatian afternoon: siesta, paddle boarding, snorkeling and swimming. Spend the evening wandering along Korčula’s cobblestone alleys before dinner in one of the numerous charming taverns (konobas). Korčula town is one of the finest examples of Venetian architecture and represents the home of famous traveler Marco Polo. Was he Croatian or Venetian?

  • Introduction to Dubrovnik

An early start this morning will give us the chance to explore the scenic roads and secluded turquoise bays of the Pelješac peninsula on bike, where you have the chance to paddle board, swim and snorkel before continuing to Ston. Ston is famous for having the longest fortified walls in Europe and (probably) the second ones in the world. This historical place is a great introduction to Dubrovnik, our next destination, which used to be an independent and very prosperous republic in medieval times. The tour concludes with your arrival at your accommodation in Dubrovnik.
