Upon your arrival at airport Zagreb, pick up your rental car and drive to the capital of Croatia – Zagreb, where you spend your first evening. Situated in the middle of the Vienna, Budapest and Venice triangle, Zagreb represents a part of the cultural circle of central Europe. You might want to take a stroll to the old town, where you will find all the main attractions and restaurants.

After breakfast take a stroll along the streets of the Croatian metropolis. Besides the lively city center, we recommend a visit to the city’s many museums and galleries. For those looking for something different a visit to the Museum of Illusion might be an interesting option. Later in the afternoon depart for Plitvice Lakes, where you will stay overnight.

Enjoy your morning walk along 16 emerald green and blue travertine lakes, gravel paths and wooden bridges leading to many stunning waterfalls of the UNESCO inscribed National Park of Plitvice. There are several different walking trails ranging from 3 to 5hours in duration. In the afternoon drive to Skradin, the ancient and picturesque settlement located at the mouth of the Krka river.

Discover waterfalls along scenic paths meandering through the forest of National Park Krka. The most famous waterfall to visit is Skradinski Buk, a collection of 17 waterfalls that range in height by over 45 meters. We suggest visiting the old mill that is now turned into a small museum of local folklore before your departure to Split. En route to your final destination Split, you might want to explore the historic towns of Trogir or Šibenik. After a morning coffee in the old town of Korčula depart on a ferry to the Pelješac peninsula. This historical place once belonged to the independent Republic of Dubrovnik and is a great historical introduction to your next destination- Dubrovnik itself.

Today you have the whole day to explore Dubrovnik.
