Those of you who still have enough energy after the ride, might choose to cycle some extra miles that we have prepared to explore the surroundings of Split. Visit the medieval fortress in Klis that became world famous as the city of Meereen in the series Game of Thrones. It is incredible how island Šolta, which is so close to Split, remained so secluded until today. The simple way of living is complemented by good food, fishing, wine and olive oil production, playing balote (bowls or bocce balls) or just playing cards in the shade of an oak tree. No matter what you do, the serenity of the island gives you a magical feeling of timelessness and freedom. Enjoy easy cycling along sleepy villages and quiet roads.
